This is a preparatory qualification which provides a defined range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who aid with client services. These routine tasks are completed under direct supervision and with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.
The SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant allows you to get an edge over other potential Apprentice hopefuls in just 3-4 months. With this course you will learn how to do shampooing, blow-drying, relaxation massages, braiding and apply hair colour products.
You will also undertake general salon related units like; client consultation, communication, financial transactions, safety and hygiene, product selling and stock control.
There are no entry requirements to this qualification.
